What counts as an alert
- One alert = one back-in-stock email sent to one subscriber. If a restock notifies 30 waiting customers, that consumes 30 alerts.
- Double opt-in confirmation emails and test emails do not consume your quota.
- Widget signups are never limited — customers can always join the waitlist on any plan.
Reaching your monthly limit
- When you hit the quota (50 on Free, 500 on Growth), alerts beyond it are paused, not lost: they wait in the queue and the dashboard shows a banner with the count.
- Upgrade at any time to release the queued alerts immediately.
- Otherwise, queued alerts are released when your quota resets with the monthly billing cycle — but for back-in-stock alerts, hours matter: if you regularly hit the cap, the plan above will pay for itself with a single recovered order.
Trial, upgrades, downgrades
- 14-day free trial on Growth and Pro. You are not charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
- Upgrades take effect immediately; Shopify prorates the charge on your invoice.
- Downgrades take effect per Shopify's standard billing flow; features of the higher plan (e.g. Demand Report export) become unavailable, but your data — subscribers, history, stats — is kept intact.
- Change plans anytime from the Plans page inside the app.
Cancelling
Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels) and billing stops per Shopify's standard rules — there is no separate account to close. Per our privacy policy, all your data (subscribers, alerts, settings) is deleted within 30 days of the shop/redact webhook Shopify sends after uninstall.
Refunds and billing disputes are handled through Shopify's app billing system. If something looks wrong on your invoice, email us first — anadvisory.fr@gmail.com — and we'll sort it out.
